A lost war
The little mouse always envied the dog and his life with the loving family. He compared his life with the dog’s all the time and felt sore. Nothing bad happened to the dog; no, this is not the story where the mouse feels better for not being the dog. This the story where the mouse was sore and restless. No, this is not a story on being thankful and happy with what you have either; sometimes envy is good, it makes you go on a quest for something more, but just not at the cost of your own peace. I think a huge part of adulting is processing your childhood, at the same time juggling the present so that you can have a future over which you have some control. Everyone has a different load and attitude, and I have seen lot of people carry and project negativity at others- superior, equals or inferior to them maybe in workplace or personal-life; just because they aren’t happy with what they have themselves and they just never get around to either making their peace with it or getting ahead of it. We just have to learn, it is what it is.
