 I will let you be,

I will let you be the way you are,

The world expects a lot from us anyway.

I  will let you be,

I will let you be who you are, when you are with me.

The dew takes all night to settle,

I know the chaos in your soul will take time too

I will wait with you.

The springs breeze makes us all smile,

But a few of us long for the heavy rains

To wash off thoughts which we can’t get rid of.

We have each seen life through tainted glass

Yours different from mine

I will learn,

I will learn to look through yours.

A part of our souls long for a comforting shoulder,

As long as I am here, I will be yours,

I will be yours.
