Actions speak louder than thoughts.
I read a quote which said, “we judge others based on their actions and ourselves based on our intentions”. Precise. Yes, it is true that actions are a huge indicator of someone’s perspective and intent, but some people like some genes don’t express well. This gap between what was intended and what was done paves a way for misunderstandings, and if we don’t suture this gap in-time, the wound is surely gonna gape. I have learnt it the hard way that if someone doesn’t talk about what’s bothering them and you on the other end notice some new patterns in their actions and don’t address it in time, you will end up making assumptions about their intentions.
Also, intention to do good is a key step, but not the last. There are so many issues we want to set right, like people say there are so few plants around; so take the step, plant a sapling. On a bigger scale this is how is going to map out. We hear about someone saying they did something, which we have always thought of, but isn’t that the line of differentiation? They did it, while we were thinking.
