Ode to Mumbai locals and Mumbai 🧡

Mumbai locals have very humbly become a part of the routine of majority of mumbaikars

I really want to appreciate the efficiency with which they connect the jigsaw pieces of the city 

And cater to this huge crowd of 21 million and more ( I am literally seeing the count go up😅).

While Metro is taking forever to come up,

The age old local trains have been promptly running, with a vigorous schedule.

(Since 1853)

As the city is expanding by the minute

And the shores are receding and land is being reclaimed

New roads are making Mumbai more picturesque.

The city is awe inspiring with its contrast of preserved heritage and appreciable modern architecture 

So much has been written about the city, her beauty, the hustle, mumbaikars 

And she deserves it all.

The city accepts all and takes you under her wing 

And gives you lessons and skills needed to be one with her kind of feathers

In a city that never sleeps,

So many count their dreams...
